Leisure Commerce Square | red flower

Venue: TCPJ, LCS Campus
Date: 28 November 2009
Subject: Red Flowers

After coming back from the Lakeside Campus, I started my second round of photo shoot in the Leisure Commerce Square building. Since I will be leaving soon, might as well have some photographs of that campus right?

I've did some editing in this set of photographs, by using Photoshop CS2, I changed its exposure and this are the result.

Anyone knows the name of this flower? Let me know at least I can have a specific name for it. These red flowers were spotted at the back entrance of the campus, next to the tiny flowers from the previous entry. Do you like it?

Just so you know, the third photograph was shot purposely that way. Played with the shutter and zooming while shotting.

Epiphyllum Oxypetalum | Night Blooming Cereus

Venue: Home
Date: 26 September 2009
Subject: Night Blooming Cereus

Mom told me that a total of 10 of her Night Blooming Cereus will blossom that night and asked me whether if I want to take some pictures of it. Well, it's a total different experience since I will be shooting it outside with minimal amount of lighting, I accepted the challenge.

I stay awake till 12am since that will be the only hour it bloom. I stayed outside for almost an hour taking pictures of the flower. So how was it? My mom's Night Blooming Cereus.

p.s. This is also my first time uploading original photographs without undergoing the process of PhotoShop.
